Lakeside High School
[ Lake Elsinore, California ]

Lake Elsinore (California) School District’s newest high school, Lakeside High School, is based on the site plan concept that was developed by HDA Architects for Paradise Valley District’s Pinnacle High School.  Although the Pinnacle concept served as the starting point of the planning process, numerous exterior and interior modifications to the Pinnacle model were required at Lakeside, due to such factors as the 60-foot elevation drop across the site, compliance with seismic zone requirements, and adherence to California’s Education Board Standards.

At Lakeside, as at Pinnacle, each of the major components of a modern high school – administration/ counseling, food service, media center, athletics/gymnasium, library, and arts/auditorium – is housed in a separate building.  The campus-building complex is completed with two 2-story classroom buildings.
